Decision details

To receive the annual review of the Corporate Health & Safety Policy from the Director of Corporate Affairs and Business Transformation.

Arising from a report of the Director of Corporate Affairs and Business Transformation, the Community Policy Development Group had recommended that the Cabinet note that the Health and Safety Policy had been approved by the JNCC on 4^th September 2018, following subsequent review by the Health and Safety Committee and representatives from the union, there were no changes to be made to the current policy.

The Cabinet Member for the Working Environment and Support Services outlined the contents of the report stating that it was a legal requirement to review the policy on an annual basis and that no amendments had been required to the existing policy.

RESOLVED that the recommendation of the Policy Development Group be approved.
