To consider whether to approve the minutes as a correct record of the meeting held on Monday 16 December 2024.

To receive any announcements that the Chair of Scrutiny Committee may wish to make.

To consider any decisions made by the Cabinet at its last meeting on 7 January 2025 that have been called-in.

The Deputy Chief Executive (S151) to present the Scrutiny Committee with the work performed so far in formulating the 2025/26 draft budget and provide the opportunity to Member’s to consider the position proposed so far and make any relevant observations/recommendations back to Cabinet at its meeting on the 4 February 2025.

To receive a report from the Director of Legal, People and Governance (Monitoring Officer).

To receive a report from the Deputy Chief Executive (S151 Officer) on the Housing Rents.

To review the existing Work Plan and consider items for the committee’s future consideration, taking account of:

a)    Any items within the Forward Plan for discussion at the next meeting;

b)    Suggestions of other work for the committee in 2025.
